ABOUT THIS CENTER
Nagisa Museum opened in Shigetomi Beach in the city of Aira, Kagoshima Prefecture, on 5 April 2015. This facility showcases the attractions and wildlife found in Kirishima-Kinkowan National Park, particularly Kinkowan Bay district. The museum can also be used for educational experiences, environmental education and similar purposes.
The museum has permanent staff. Visitors are invited to come and enjoy themselves here. We look forward to your visit.

- The pine forest on Shigetomi Beach is a windbreak protected forest. Use of fireworks, barbecues and other fires on the coast is prohibited to preserve the pine forest.
